QUIT CLAIM DEED
STATE OF GEORGIA
COUNTY OF RICHMOND
THIS INDENTURE, made the ~ day of I'twEfll6,.t.in the year two thousand and
two, between AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, a political subdivision under the laws of Georgia,
hereinafter referred to as Party of the First Part and THOMAS E. MORGAN and LEE ELLEN
MORGAN, hereinafter referred to as Party of the Second Part;
WITNESSETH, that the Party of the First Part, for and in consideration of ONE DOLLAR
($1.00) in hand and truly paid by the Party of the Second Part at and before the sealing and'
delivery of these presents, and other valuable consideration, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents
does remise, release and forever quit-claim to the Party of the Second Part all the right, title,
interest, claim or demand which the Party of the First Part has, or may have had, in and to the
following described real property, to wit:
A permanent easement consisting of 10,287 square feet, more or less, and a
temporary construction easement consisting of 10,989 square feet, more or less, as
shown on a plat prepared by George L. Godman & Associates, dated October 19,
2001, revised January 9, 2002, attached hereto and made a part hereof, to which
reference is made for a more accurate and complete description of the metes,
bounds and courses.
Said easements being the same as those transferred by Thomas E. Morgan and
Lee Ellen Morgan to Augusta, Georgia, by deed dated June 29, 2002, and recorded
in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Richmond County, Georgia, in Realty
Reel 798, Pages 1862-1864.
Together with all the rights, members and appurtenances to the said described
premises in anywise appertaining or belonging.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said described premises unto the Party of the
Second Part, so that neither the said Party of the First Part, nor any other person or
persons claiming under the Party of the First Part will at any time claim or demand any
right, title or interest to the aforesaid described premises or its appurtenances.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Party of the First Part has signed and sealed this
deed the day and year first above written.
