THIS CONVEYANCE made and executed the ~ aay of 0 ~'h &t A.. , 19 ,.~
WITNESSETH that Mary W. Shores. thc undersigned, are the owners of a tract of land in
RICHMOND COUNTY, through which Mason Road, known as Mason Road Culvert Proiect, has been
laid out by Augusta Public Works Department, being more particularly described in a map and drawing of
said project in the Office of Public Works, to which reference is hereby made.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefit to said property by the construction and
maintenance of said project, and in consideration of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00), in hand paid, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, I do hereby grant, sell and convey to Augusta, Georgia, a political
subdivision of the State of Georgia, and their successors in office, so much land as to make a right-of-way
for said project as surveyed.
SAID right-of-way is hereby conveyed in fee simple, consisting of 625 sq. ft., more or less, and
1,000 sq. ft. of pennanent easement, more or less, as shown on a drawing of the property prepared by
Augusta Department of Public Works dated July 28. 1999. and revised August 2, 1999, attached hereto
and made a part of this description.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said conveyed premises in fee simple.
I hereby specially wan'ant that I have the right to sell and convey said land and bind myself, my
heirs, executors and administrators forever to defend by virtue of these presents.
JUST IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day above written.

do hereby appoint WILIJIE MAE LAWRENCE and SARAH ELIZABETH SCOTT,
as my attorneys-in-fact, to manage and conduct all of my

affairs, and for that purpose, for me and in my place and stead,
and for my use and benefit and as my act and deed, to do and
execute or to concur with persons jointly interested. wi th myself
herein in the doing or executing of all or acts necessary to
accomplish my affairs. This power shall include the full authority
to execute whatever iristruments or checks whatsoever in order to
accomplish the handling and managing of my affairs or any affair
that I have an interest in.
This general power of attorney is
deemed to include any necessary transactions and all documents
necessary in their discretion to carry out my affairs.

property and affairs that I might do in my own person if personally
