WITNESSETH that Margaret Owens Cooper, et. aI.. the undersigned, is the owner of a tract ofland
in RICHMOND COUNTY, through which Haucham Hill Road. known as (Haucham Hill Road) PAVING
VARIOUS ROADS, PHASE III Proiect, has been laid out by W. R. Toole Engineers, Inc. , being more
particularly described in a map and drawing of said project in the Public Works and Engineering office, to which
reference is hereby made. ~
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefit to said property by the construction and maintenance
of said project, and in consideration of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00), in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, I do hereby grant, sell and convey to Augusta, Georgia, a political subdivision of the State of
Georgia, and their successors in office, so much land as to make a right-of-way for said project as surveyed.
SAID right-of-way is hereby conveyed in fee simple, consisting of 23,592 sq. ft. (0.54 acre) , more or
less; and N/ A SQ. ft. of permanent drainage, utility and maintenance easement, more or less; and N/ A sq. ft. of
temporary construction easement, more or less, as shown on a drawing of the property prepared by W. R. Toole
Engineers, Inc., dated Mav 11 , 2004 and revised N/ A , attached hereto and made a part of this description.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said conveyed premises in fee simple.
I hereby specially warrant that I have the right to sell and convey said land and bind myself, my heirs,
executors and administrators forever to defend by virtue of these presents.
JUST IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day above written.

RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING RIGHT -OF -WAY DEED
WHEREAS, in connection with the Paving Various Roads, Phase III project,
certain right of ways must acquired; and
WHEREAS, in connection with this project a right of way has been donated
across property located on Haucham Hill Road, Tax Map 184, Parcel 8.1 as shown on the
attached plat; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to accept
the property;
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for assent to the acceptance by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission be shown on the face of the Right-of-Way Deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. The Augusta-Richmond County Commission does hereby accept the
property set aside as shown on the attached plat and described on the
attached Right-of-Way Deed.
2. It is further determined that the Mayor of Augusta, Georgia shall execute
an acceptance of the property on the face of the Right-of-Way Deed.

Commission, accompanied by the exhibits referred to herein.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission, this 1 day of
