QUITCLAIM DEED OF GIIT
THIS INDENTURE, made and entered into thi~day of 1)1::C.C'It'\Q.E: R.. in the
year Two TIlousand, between CLAYTON P. BOARDMA~ III, having an address of Post Office
Box 3366, Augusta, Georgia 30914-3366, hereinafter referred to as "Grantor", and
AUGUSTA7 GEORGIA, a political subdivision of the State of Georgia, hereinafter referred to as
"Grantee";
WITNESSETH that the said Grantor, for and in consideration of the One and No/ 1 00
($1.00) Dollars, and other good and valuable consideration in hand well and h"uly paid by the
Grantee, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these
presents does grant, bargain, sell, release, convey and confirm, unto the said Grantee, its
successors and assigns the following described property, to-wit:
SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATIACHED HERETO AND
BY REFERENCE INCORPORATED HEREIN.
Reserving, however, unto the Grantor an easement for the use of the right-of-
way property described on Exhibit "A" for any purposes in connection with the
renovation of Enterprise Mill and its associated facilities at all times until such
time as St. Sebastian Way is actually constructed upon such right-of-way
property.
TOGETHER WITH ALL AND SINGULAR the rights, easements, ways, members and
appurtenances to said land, being, belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the remainders,
reversions, rents, issues and profits thereof, and every part thereof;
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said land and all and singular the members and
appurtenances thereunto belonging as aforesaid, and every part thereof, unto the Grantee, its
heirs and assigns, forever, in fee simple;
THE PHRASES "GRANTOR" and "Grantee", as used in the singular herein, shall, when
appropriate, be construed to read as if written in the plural, and the pronouns and relative
words used herein shall, when appropriate, be consh"ued to read as if written in the feminine
or neuter, respectively, and the word "successors" shall be substituted for the word "heirs"
when appropriate.

ALL THAT PARCEL OF LAND, West of Cottage Street and consisting of 1.29
acres (55,986 S.F.) of Right-of-Way and 3,035 S.F. of Temporary Construction
Easement, as shown on a Right-of-Way Plat made for Augusta, Georgia, by
Cranston, Robertson & Whitehurst, P.C., dated October 13, 1998, revised
February 23, 1999, and June 2, 1999, and recorded simultaneously with this
Quitclaim Deed of Gift, reference being made to said plat for a more complete
description as to metes, bounds, locations and distances.
ALSO, ALL THAT PARCEL OF LAND between Calhoun Expressway and Banks
Street, consisting of 0.07 acres (3,135 S.F.) of Right-of-Way, as shown on said
plat.
ALSO, ALL THAT PARCEL OF LAND East of Cottage Street, consisting of 0.02
acres (799 S.F.) of Right-of-Way and 1,609 S.F. of Temporary Construction
Easement, as shown on said plat.
