GEORGIA, RICHMOND COUNTY PROJECT Barton Chapel Rd. Imprvt., Phase II
THIS CONVEYANCE made and executed the 1()1Jf day of J <A... ( Y , 20 0 I
WITNESSETH that Georgia Power Company, the undersigned, is the owner of a tract ofland in
RICHMOND COUNTY, through which Barton Chapel Road Improvement, Phase II, known as Barton
Chapel Road Improvement, Phase II, has been laid out by Southern Partners, Inc., being more particularly
described in a map and drawing of said project in the Public Works and Engineering office, to which reference
is hereby made.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefit to said property by the construction and maintenance
of said project, and in consideration of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00), in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, I do hereby grant, sell and convey to Augusta, Georgia, a political subdivision of the State of
Georgia, and their successors in office, so much land as to make a right-of-way for said project as surveyed.

SAID right-of-way is hereby conveyed in fee simple, consisting of 1.658.39 sq. ft., more or less; and
N/ A of permanent drainage, utility and maintenance easement, more or less; and 1.971.06 sq. ft. of temporary
construction easement, more or less, as shown on ~ drawing of the property prepared by Southern Partners, Inc.,
dated August 2, 1999. and revised N/ A, attached hereto and made a part of this description.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said conveyed premises in fee simple.
I hereby specially warrant that I have the right to sell and convey said land and bind myself, my heirs,
executors and administrators forever to defend by virtue of these presents.
JUST IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day above written.

Attachment "A"
1. Augusta, Georgia shall ensure that the turn radii and slope of the relocated driveway will be
sufficient to accommodate a low boy trailer. Also, the relocated driveway will be a minimum of
30 feet wide.
2. Augusta, Georgia shall pay Georgia Power Company for the relocation of any poles wires or D.G.
cables located on the subject property. Also, Augusta, Georgia will provide a location for such
facilities on the new right-of-way ifrelocation is necessary.
3. Augusta, Georgia shall relocate the property line fence and gate to a location that will provide
enough room for Georgia Power Company vehicles to safely pull off Barton Chapel Road.
