THIS C~NVEY ANCE made and executed the I j'~ay of ~ ' 2004.
WITNESSETH, that W ACHOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, a North Carolina
corporation, formerly known as First Union Devel9pment Corporation, is the owner of a tract of land in
RICHMOND COUNTY, through which certain improvements to the Augusta Canal are to be constructed. known
as Augusta Canal Third Level Improvement Proiect, have been laid out by Cranston, Robertson & Whitehurst.
P.C., being more particularly described in a map and drawing of said project in the Public Works and Engineering
office, to which .reference is hereby made.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefit to said property by the construction and maintenance
. of said Project, and in consideration of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00), in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, the undersigned, by and through its authorized officers, does hereby quitclaim, release, grant, sell
and convey, without warranty of any kind, to Augusta, Georgia, a pplitical subdivision of the State of Georgia, and'
their successors in office, land as described.her~in to make a right-of-way for said project as surveyed.
SAID right-of-way is hereby conveyed in fee simple, consisting of 0.083 acre, more or less, as shown on a
drawing of the property prepared by Donaldson, Garrett & Associates, Inc., dated 12-10-2003 and revised 03-11-
2004, attached hereto and made a part of this description.
