COUNTY OF RICHMOND
CONTRACT TO PROVIDE RECREATION SERVICES
This agreement made this 5th day of July, 2005 by and between the Youth of
Augusta, Inc. a Georgia not for Profit Corporation and Augusta, Georgia, a political
subdivision of the State of Georgia.
WHEREAS, The Youth of Augusta, Inc. and its Booster President Tamara
Martin have served the youth of Augusta, Georgia for many years with quality
programs and services and has thereby afforded the citizens of Augusta additional
recreational programs and opportunities which have supplemented those programs
and services offered through the Augusta Recreation Department: and
WHEREAS, said Youth of Augusta, Inc. proposed to offer said programs
and services and the Augusta Commission desires to purchase said services in a not
exceed amount of $1,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the providing of said youth services
in a manner satisfactory to the administrator of Augusta, Georgia or his designee
the Augusta Commission shall pay to the Youth of Augusta, Inc. the sum of $1,000
in payments or by lump sum during the period July 5 through December 31,2005
and further provided said money shall only be used for costs associated with the
July, 2005 competition of the Amateur Athletic Union Girls 11 U and 12U Division II
National Championships in Nashville, Tenn.
WHEREFORE, the Youth of Augusta, Inc and Augusta, Georgia have
caused these presents to be executed by and through their duly authorized officials
on the date and year above first written.
