TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYING FOR AUGUSTA TEE CENTER
Contract Amendment #2
1. Scope of Services.
Per your request, W.K. Dickson & Co., Inc. will provide additional topographic and utility
locations survey services for the Augusta Trade, Exhibit, and Events (TEE) Center (PO# 174907).
The topographic survey and utility locations will take place in the area at ground level below the
parking deck for the Marriott from Marriott Suites building line on the east side to the Marriott
building line on the west to the south face of the second floor parking structure and to the
building line of the structure on the north. This survey will include approximately 0.80 acres of
area and included in this survey will be column locations, topography, subsurface utility location
and storm drainage locations for use in the engineering design of the project modifications.
2. Deliverables.
Proposal survey drawings shall include two drawings and one CADD file, produced in
AutoCad2004 or a later version and provided to the OWNER's Project Manager.
These additional services are a contract amendment in accordance to the agreement executed by
and between W.K. Dickson & Co., Inc. and the City of Augusta, GA for Augusta TEE Center
Design Survey Bid Item #09 -134, dated January 4, 2010.
3. Time of Performance. Work will begin upon receipt of notice to proceed and will be
completed in ten (10) days assuming timely access to properties.
4. Basis of Compensation.
A. Basic Services. The Owner shall pay the Consultant for services set forth above, Scope of
Services, a Lump Sum Fee of $2,000.00 (Two thousand dollars and 00/100 cents
A percentage of the Lump Sum Fee will be billed on the last day of each month. The
percentage billed will be the percentage of work estimated to be complete as of the day of
billing.

B. Additional Services. The OWNER shall pay the CONSULTANT for additional services
which are not specifically called for in above, Scope of Services, in accordance with the
CONSULTANT'S standard rates.
C. Premium Rate Adjustment. Should OWNER request an accelerated schedule requiring
CONSULTANT to work overtime hours, then a 1.25 premium rate adjustment shall be
applied to current hourly rates or lump sum fees as appropriate. Accelerated schedule and
premium rate adjustment shall be approved as part of compensation at time of contract
execution or by written amendment.
All work and compensation under this Contract Amendment shall be in accordance with the base
agreement dated January 4, 2010.
