SECOND AMENDMENT
CONTRACT BETWEEN
AUGUSTA, GEORGIA
&
LIGHT OF THE WORLD NEIGHBORHOOD AND ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT, INC.
YEAR 2007 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
This Second Amendment to the Contract executed by and between the Parties on
March 20, 2007 is made and entered into on the 18th day of September 2007, by and
between AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, (hereinafter referred to as "GRANTEE"), and
LIGHT OF THE WORLD NEIGHBORHOOD AND ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT, INC. (hereinafter referred to as the "SUB-RECIPIENT").
WHEREAS, GRAfITEE desires to amend the ORIGINAL CONTRACT to allow
the SUB-RECIPIENT to effectively and efficiently administer its ARAGON PARK
NEIGHBORHOOD AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM;
WHEREAS, SUB-RECIPIENT has determined that this amendment is in its
best interest and has agreed to the said amendment;
NOW THERFORE, in exchange for their mutual good and valuable
consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which each PARTY ~cknowledges, and
intending to be legally bound, GRANTEE and SUB-RECIPIENT agree to amend said
CONTRACT as follows:

1. Paragraph (7) in the Original Contract shall be stricken in its entirety and
shall be replaced with the following language:
7. COMPENSATION
"The Sub-recipient shall be paid a total consideration of $11,~00.00 for
the full performance of the services specified under this Contract,"

II. Appendix (C) shall be stricken in its entirety and shall be replaced with the
following language:
APPENDIX (C)
"On March 20, 2003 Commission approved a CDBG in the amount of $30,000.00.
September 18, 2007 Commission approved a decrease in CDBG in the amount of
$18,700.00. Total grant amount $11,300.00. See funding sources in chart below.
III. Except for the modifications made by this Second Amendment, the terms
and conditions of the ORIGINAL CONTRACT, as previously amended, shall remain in
full force and effect.
