YEAR 2005 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CnBG)
This first Amendment to the Contract executed by and between the Parties on
January 1,2005, is made and entered into on the 17th day of January, 2006 by and
between AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, (hereinafter referred to as "GRANTEE"), and
LIGHT OF THE WORLD NEIGHBORHOOD AND ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT, INC. (hereinafter referred to as the "SUB-RECIPIENT").
WHEREAS, GRANTEE desires to amend the ORIGINAL CONTRACT to allow
the SUB-RECIPIENT to effectively and efficiently administer its ARAGON PARK
NEIGHBORHOOD AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM;
WHEREAS, SUB-RECIPIENT has determined that this amendment is in its
best interest and has agreed to the said amendment;
NOW THEREFORE, in exchange for their mutual good and valuable
consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which each PARTY acknowledges, and
intending to be legally bound, GRANTEE and SUB-RECIPIENT agree to amend said
CONTRACT as follows:

First Sentence in Paragraph (1) of Paragraph 7, entitled COMPENSATION
on the Original Contract shall be stricken in its entirety and shall be replaced with the
following language:

"The Sub-recipient shall be paid a total consideration of $25,000.00 for
full performance of the services specified under this Contact."

Paragraph 4 of Appendix (B) shall be stricken in its entirety and shall be replaced
with the following language:
"Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds will be used to pay
salary, purchase gasoline and supplies to complete the work in the Aragon
Park neighborhood and surrounding areas for the senior citizens, students
and community members."

Appendix (C) shall be stricken in its entirety and shall be replaced with the following
language:

$9,950.00
$5,050.00
Total Grant Amount: $25,000.00,
Note: On January 1,2005 Commission approved a CDBG in the amount
of $10,000.00. On January 17, 2006 Commission approved an additional
CDBG in the amount Of$15,000.00. Total amount awarded $25,000.00.

Except for the modifications made by this First Amendment, the terms and
conditions of the ORIGINAL CONTRACT, as previously amended, shall remain in full
force and effect.
