This Second Amendment to the Contract executed by and between the Parties on
January 1, 2005, is made and entered into on the 1.:E day of January, 2006 by and
between AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, (hereinafter referred to as "GRANTEE"), and
HOPE HOUSE, INC. (hereinafter referred to as the "SUB-RECIPIENT").
WHEREAS, GRANTEE desires to amend the ORIGINAL CONTRACT to allow
the SUB-RECIPIENT to effectively and efficiently administer its LONG-TERM
THERAPEUTIC SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM FOR WOMEN;
WHEREAS, SUB-RECIPIENT has determined that this amendment is in its
best interest and has agreed to the said amendment;
NOW THEREFORE, in exchange for their mutual good and valuable
consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which each PARTY acl<.nowledges, and
intending to be legally bound, GRANTEE and SUB-RECIPIENT agree to amend said
CONTRACT as follows:
(1)
First Sentence in First Paragraph under Paragraph 7 on the Original Contract
shall be stricken in its entirety and shall be replaced with the following language:
"7. COMPENSATION
The SUB-RECIPEINT shall be paid a total consideration of $51,187.00, for
the full performance of services specified under this Contract."

Paragraph 4 of Appendix (B) shall be stricken in its entirety and shall be replaced
with the following language:
"Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds will be used to pay
salaries for four (4) existing positions: House Parents, Client Coordinator,
Van Driver, House Manager and Program Services."

Appendix (C) shall be stricken in its entirety and shall be replaced with the following
language:

Total Grant Amount:
On January 1, 2005 Commission approved a CDBG in the amount of
$25,000.00. On July 5, 2005 Commission approved an additional CDBG
in the amount of $8,187.00 and on January 17,2006 Commission approved
an additional CDBG -in the amount of $18,000.00. Total amount funded
$51,187.

Except for the modifications made by this Second Amendment, the terms and
conditions of the ORIGINAL CONTRACT, as previously amended, shall remain in full
force and effect.
