RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
AN EASEMENT DEED FROM
GEORGIA TRANSMISSION CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has been petitioned to approve
and accept the Easement Deed from Georgia Transmission Corporation, a copy of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit A, whereby Georgia Transmission Corporation is selling Augusta an
easement over and through a tract of land it owns, on which to construct a portion of the
Horsepen Sanitary Sewer, Phase 2, as shown on the attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to approve and
accept the Easement Deed; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for approval and acceptance of the Easement Deed by the
Augusta-Richmond County Commission be shown by execution of said Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. The Augusta-Richmond County Commission does hereby approve and accept the
Easement Deed.
2. It is further determined that the Mayor of Augusta, Georgia shall execute the
Easement Deed, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
This Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission, accompanied by the exhibits referred to herein. C)
