FIRST AMENDMENT
CONTRACT BETWEEN

&
NEW BETHLEHEM COMMUNITY CENTER, INC.
YEAR 2006 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)

This First Amendment to the Contract executed by and between the Parties on
October 17,2006, is made and entered into on the 18th day of September 2007, by and
between AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, (hereinafter referred to as "GRANTEE"), and NEW
BETHLEHEM COMMUNITY CENTER, INC. (hereinafter referred to as the "SUB-
RECIPIENT").
WHEREAS, GRANTEE desires to amend the ORIGINAL CONTRACT to allow
the SUB-RECIPIENT to effectively and efficiently administer its NEW BETHLEHEM
COMMUNITY OUTDOOR ACTIVITY CENTER PROJECT;
WHEREAS, SUB-RECIPIENT has determined that this amendment is in its
best interest and has agreed to the said amendment;
NOW THERFORE, in exchange for their mutual good and valuable
consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which each PARTY acknowledges, and
intending to be legally bound, GRANTEE and SUB-RECIPIENT agree to amend said
CONTRACT as follows:

I. Paragraph (7) on the Original Contract shall be stricken in its entirety and
shall be replaced with the following language:
7. COMPENSATION
"The SUB-RECIPEINT shall be paid a total consideration of
$75,842.50 for the full performance of services specified under this
Contract. Any cost above this amount shall be the sole
responsibility of the Sub-recipient. The Grantee shall be
responsible for paying the contractor for work performed under this
agreement for the Sub-recipient."

II. Appendix (C) shall be stricken in its entirety and shall be replaced with the
following language:

"On October 17, 2006 Commission approved a CDBG in the amount of $57,000.00. On
September 18, 2007 Commission approved an additional CDBG in the amount of
$18,842.50. Total amount funded $75,842.50. See funding sources in chart below.

III. Except for the modifications made by this First Amendment, the terms
and conditions of the ORIGINAL CONTRACT, as previously amended, shall remain in
full force and effect.
