CONTRACT TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL SERVICES
This agreement made this 2.f/- day of ~ ' 2007 by and between Augusta
State University Athletics Department, hereinafter "A.S.U.", and Augusta, Georgia, a political
subdivision ofthe State of Georgia.
WHEREAS, A.S.U. has started a women's golf team which has provided the citizens of
Augusta, Georgia for many years with quality entertainment and charitable contributions and has
thereby afforded the citizens of Augusta additional recreational opportunities which have
supplemented those programs and services offered through the Augusta Recreation Department;
and
WHEREAS, the A.S.U. women's golf team has traveled extensively throughout the
United States representing Augusta, Georgia; and
WHEREAS, the A.S.U. women'sgolf team proposes to represent Augusta, Georgia and
the United States of America at an International Golf Tournament in France and the Augusta
Commission desires to support the team in the amount of $2,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the women's golf team providing said
representation in a manner satisfactory to the administrator of Augusta, Georgia or his designee,
the Augusta Commission shall pay to A.S.U. the sum of $2.000.00 immediately. Said money
shall be designated solely for the purpose of the Augusta State University Women's Golf Team
traveling to France to compete in the International Golf Tournament.
WHEREFORE, A.S.U. and Augusta, Georgia have caused these presents to be executed
by and through their duly authorized officials on the date and year above first written.
