EXPLANATION:
Construction of this project was delayed approximately 228 days after the contract was
executed. During this time, there were significant increases in asphalt prices. The
contractor has requested increases in the unit prices of the asphalt contract items. There
were also ground-mounted signs omitted from the original contract as well at a cost of
$400.00. The increases in asphalt prices ($14,891.81) are documented and verified and
the total amount of the change order is $15,291.81. All work is completed on the project.
