Dear Bob,
In response to your letter dated May 16,2001, our comments are a., follows:
Reconstruct Concrete Flume $3,500.00 The cost of concrete and rebar is not the
only cost for this structure. The forming is
the most expensive. (Enclosed is a sketch of
the flume,)
Remove Excess Dirt
$17,500.00 The tickets were turned in with the pay
request, if additional tickets are needed, I
will pull them. 4,560 CY of material was
brought in so 4,560 CY approximate should
go back out at $3,83 per CY. A truck will
have to be rented at a rate of $35.00 per
hour to haul the material from Wrightsboro
Road to our place, off of the Gordon
Highway. There is approximately 30410ads
to be hauled, which will have to pushed off,
Extra Depth on Pipe
$10,000.00 This is at $25.00 per foot, additional for over
20>. Originally, it would have been only
50' at this depth for a price of$68.00 per
foot.

equal to the amount of the sand-clay material
imported for the trench backfill. Please provide
tickets and a summary of the sand-clay material
imported, along with the estimated cost per cubic
yard to load and haul the excess dirt,
