I ran some quick figures using the plan profile and came up with approx, 300 If of trench by
an average of 10ft. deep and a 10 foot wide trench and came up with approx. 1,110 CY of
dirt that needs to be removed from Mabus's site. I know the width for in place payment is
only 6.33 ft. However ten ft in width is closer to what was actually removed.

We are pleased to quote the following on the above referenced project:
Removal & Hauling of Unsuitable Material stored at Gordon Hwy
Site Originally Removed from Fenwick St between King St & 8th St
A deduct of $37.50 per ton will be given if the Utilities Department wishes to pay the
County Landfill dlrecUy or make arrangements for dumping the material at a different
rate, than the $37.50 that was quoted to us. Billings will come directly from tickets
issued by the Augusta Richmond County Landfill. (Copies will be supplied)
