Why is this change necessary? The Special Inspection Consultant recommends replacement of the unsuitable soil due to compaction concerns, '-' Who requested this change? Unsuitable soils encounterecl in building footprint and new parking lot. Who requested this change? The gee-technical engineer, ATC, identified the unsuitable soils and requeeted that they be removed and replaced with suftable 1I11a. Is there an alternative to doing this work and what impact does It have? There was no alternative to replacing the unsuitable ~I.. The new soil and stone 1111 provide a stable sub grade for the new structures. What will happen if this change is not mllde?
