The following change is hereby made to the contract for the above project:
James G. Swift & Associates has provided a revised route for the existing Fort Gordon
18-inch Water Main to connect to the proposed Gordon Hwy 24-inch Water Main
Extension, which is north of the Gordon Hwy and the Seaboard Coastline Railroad.
Therefore, Swift was task to perform survey work for the redesign of the Fort Gordon
18-inch water main connection. Swift, also will provide specification for the alternate
routings and present alternate routes with AUD .These items will serve to improve the
construction efforts and help the City of Augusta save money in construction cost.
