The second item is identified for "Additional costs for preparation of abatement areas due to the previous disturbance of area and emergerrcy'c1ean up" for a sum of$9,000. PB requests that a further detailed breakdown is presented for these two (2) items. As an example, the first item should indicate the number of personnel (3 men) for one (1) day at their hourly rate. Also included hi this should be the mobilization to perform the work immediately and prior to the full mobilization and any associated per diem costs. In all, the sum presented under Item I does appear to be appropriate; hmvever, further detail is needed. . Similarly, the second item should be detailed. Based upon our conversations after the Pre-Demo Meeting, PB anticipates ,the $9,000 would include costs to install safety cables at the second floor of the building(s) to be abated as well as any costs associated with materials of salvage value. Finally, as we discussed on the phone yesterday, a detailed breakdown should be provided to substantiate costs r~lated to the carpet abatement adjacent to the transite panel clean up. PB asks that you also provide a provide a cost for use of a HEP A vacuum to clean these areas in lieu of carpet removal and disposal.
