This change order covers items requested by the owner and modifications requested by EPD. The project is near completion. The operations division has requested the material left over on the project be transferred to the City. The City has requested the existing 18" pipeline be pressure tested in addition to all the new pipelines. The Ga. EPD has directed samples be taken at 1200 If intervals. Also included are the exploratory efforts to confirm the tees had been removed from the pipeline. This will increase the project cost by $77,096.63 for a total of $755,218.98. Construction of a new pipeline of this size would have cost considerably more.
