CAPITAL PROJECT BUDGET
S. R. 121 @WINDSOR SPRING ROAD UPGRADE TRAFFIC SIGNAL
BE IT ORDAINED by the Commission-Council of Augusta-Richmond County,
Georgia that the following Capital Project Budget is hereby authorized:
Section 1: The project is authorized for CPB#323-04-201823161. This project is a
safety project that will provide crosswalks, pedestrian ramps, and
upgrade traffic signals at intersection of S.R. 121 @ Windsor Spring
Road. This authorization is for Utilities and Contingency associated
with the said project, in the total amount of $85,800 to be funded by
the Special 1 % Sales Tax, Phase III Recapture Funds.
Section 2: The following revenues are anticipated to be available to the
Consolidated Government to complete the project:

Section 3: The following amounts are appropriated for the project:

LOCAL GOVERNMENT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
In consideration of the proposed improvements, the City of Augusta-Richmond County, acting by and
through its Mayor and Commissioners, do hereby agree to provide or perform, at no cost to the Georgia
Department of Transportation, the following work:
[ X] Provide all rights-of-way and/or easements needed for the construction of project and remove
existing structures or obstructions within the rights-of-way.
[X] Make all utility relocations, adjustments or betterments of publicly owned utilities that are in
conflict with construction of this project. _ Reimburse Georgia Department of Transportation for any
damages paid to the contractor for delay of construction caused by a delay in relocating the publicly
owned utilities.
[X] Relocate or adjust all privately owned utilities to clear construction of this project, including
adjustments at railroad crossings if required.
