BE IT ORDAINED by the Commission-Council of Augusta-Richmond County, Georgia that
the following capital project budget is hereby adopted:
Section 1, The project authorized is for the reconfiguration of the intersection on Old
Waynesboro Road at S,R. 56, The total estimated cost of the project in the amount of $237,500
will come from Special 1 % Sales Tax, Phase II Recaptured Funds,
Section 2, The following revenues are anticipated to be available to the Commission-Council to
complete the project:

Section 3, The following amount are to be expended for the project:

Project Identification and Engineering Proposal
Dear Mr, Murphy:
We have reviewed the needed improvements to improve the intersection of Old Waynesboro Rd,
with Hwy, 56, to eliminate the traffic short-circuiting around the existing light and to provide for
safe access for the Fire Department. We have attached our work sheet for the engineering effort,
We have also included a cost estimate for the work for budgeting purposes,
We propose to provide the design engineering services, including field surveys, through final design
for this project, for a lump sum fee of $11,500, including Right-Of-Way plats, If you have any
questions, please let us know
