IMPROVEMENT
BE IT ORDAINED by the Commission-Council of Augusta-Richmond County,
Georgia that the following Capital Project Budget is hereby adopted:
Section 1: The project authorized is for CPB# 323-04-203823122. This project
is authorized for utility relocations that would be the responsibility
of Augusta per the Local Government Project Agreement between
the Georgia Department of Transportation and city of Augusta. All
engineering and construction will be funded by the Georgia
Department of Transportation. This project is to be funded by
Special 1% Sales Tax Phase III Recapture.
Section 2: The following revenues are anticipated to be available to the
Consolidated Government to complete the project:
Special 1 % Sales Tax, Phase III Recapture
$15,000
Section 3: The following amounts are appropriated for the project:

Section 4: Copies of this Capital Project Budget shall be made available to the
Comptroller for direction in carrying out this project.

In consideration of the proposed improvements, RICllJ110ND County agrees to provide or perform the
following at no cost to the Georgia D.o. T. for project STP-0003-00(790) Richmond Co., PI # 0003790:
INTERSECTION IMPROVE.!J.fENT SR 4/15ffi STREET ATCR 2207/CENTRAL A VENUE IN AUGUSTA
[ X J Provide all rights-of-way and/or easements needed for the construction of the project and
remove existing structures or obstructions within the rights-of-way.
[ X J Make all utility relocations, adjustments or betterments of publicly owned utilities that are in
conflict with construction of this project Reimburse Georgia D. O. T. for any damages paid to
the contractor for delay of construction caused by a delay in relocating the publicly owned
utilities.
[ X J Relocate or adjust all pn'vately own~ utilities to clear construction of this project, including
adjustments at railroad crossings if required. .
[ / Furnish detours, local borrow and waste pits as needed.
! J We support this project but choose Jwt to COI1Ullit any funding, realizing this may delay the
project until additional funding can be found
