The funding for this project is needed for Advertising, Right of Way, Construction and Contingency. We propose address the drainage issues. The total amount of $600,000 and will be funded by the Special 1 % Sales Tax, Phase III Recapture Funds. The additional $200,000 is to fund additional scope for piping storm water to the County's detention pond. Section 2: The following revenues are anticipated to be available to the Consolidated Government to complete the project: Special 1 % Sales Tax, Phase III Recapture $ 800,000 $ 800,000 Section 3: The following amounts are appropriated for the project: Bv Basin Bv District Raes Creek $ 800,000 7th $800,000 Section 4: Copies of this Capital Project Budget shall be made available to the Comptroller for direction in carrying out this project. WHEREAS, certain revisions to the design requested by Augusta-Richmond County are not covered by the scope of the original contract, we desire to submit the following Supplemental Agreement to-wit: Additional engineering services associated with the work with Phase I-B and the extension of the Phase II ditch piping work to the city's detention pond. It is agreed that as a result of the above modification the contract amount is increased by $12,965.00 to total of $64,346.40. This agreement in no way modifies or changes the original contract of which it becomes a part, except as specifically stated herein. NOW, THEREFORE, We, Cranston, Robertson & Whitehurst, P.C, hereby agree to said Supplemental Agreement consisting of the above mentioned items and prices, and agree that this Supplemental Agreement is hereby made a part of the original contract to be performed under the specifications thereof, and that the original contract is in full force and effect, except insofar as it might be modified by this Supplemental Agreement. As we discussed in our meeting, the work associated with Phase I-B (piping the Publix detention pond) and the extension of the Phase II piping down to the detention pond is beyond our original scope of work. Therefore, we are hereby requesting the following supplemental fees to cover the additional required surveying and engineering design work. Phase I-B: Field Locate Existing Sanitary Sewers & Profile Approximately 1,500 Feet of Proposed Storm Line from the Publix Pond to the City Detention Pond $ 5,025.00 Phase II Extension: Field Profile approximately 500 Feet Extension of the Phase II Pipe to the City Detention Pond $ 1,850,00 Engineering Design of Phase I-B & Phase II Extension $ 6,090.00 Additional Surveying & Engineering Fees $ 12,965.00 Ms. Teresa C.
