These costs are estimated with a 10% contingency to be $1101000 and are to be funded by Special 1 % Sales Tax, Phase lIT as this project is on the approved list Section 2. Reimburse Georgia D.O.T. for any damages paid to the contractor for delay of construction caused by a delay in relocating the publicly owned utilities. [X] Relocate or adjust all privately owned utilities to clear construction of this project, including adjustments at railroad crossings if required. Goo21 Public Works Director RICHMOND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OFFICE MEMO TO: RE: AGENDA ITEM Bobby Jones Expressway (Wrightsboro Road - Gordon Highway) Project Number: 57-8555-096 File Reference: 88-004 Attached is a Capital Project Budget in the amount of $110,000 and a Local Government Project Agreement from the Georgia Department of Transportation for the above referenced project. These funds are set aside in Special One Percent Sales Tax, Phase III as this is a FY 96 approved project. In order for the Georgia Department of Transportation to proceed with this project it is incumbent upon Augusta-Richmond County to execute the Local Government proj ect Agreement . This commits our funds to purchase necessary utility rights of way and for relocation of utility facilities. Approval of the Capital Project Budget and execution of the Local Government Project Agreement are recommended. Please send the original signed Local Government Project Agreement to this office for additional processing.
