BE IT ORDAINED by the Commission-Council of Augusta-Richmond County,
Georgia that the following Capital Project Budget is hereby authorized:
Section 1: The project is authorized for CPB# 324-06-201060011. This project is
general roadway construction. The total estimated cost of construction
for this project is $61,000 to be funded by the Special 1 % Sales Tax,
Phase III Recapture and Special 1% Sales Tax, Phase IV in the amount
of $23,500 and $37,500 respectively.
Section 2: The following revenues are anticipated to be available to the
Consolidated Government to complete the project:
Special 1 % Sales Tax, Phase IV
Special 1 % Sales Tax, Phase III Recapture

Tom,
This message is to confirm our disucssion yesterday regarding the administration of funds for the subject project.
While it is recognized that the One Percent Sales Tax funds for the project were set up as a Recreation project, the
scope of work is to construct a driveway to the 4-H Camp located off of 4-H Club Road, I have been informed by
Kakoli that $41,000 was set up for the project, however only $37,500 is available for use for actual construction and
advertisement. The bids for the project came in at just over $56,000. Public Works has agreed to pay the difference.
Please confirm that you are in agreement that all approval authority to allocate and expend funds for this project may
be performed by Public Works and that no additional signatures are need from the Recreation Department in order to
execute this project.
