Preliminarv and Final Civil En2ineerin2 Desi2n Phase Services. Desi2nated Special Services) It is agreed to undertake the following work in accordance with the provisions of our MASTER AGREEMENT for Professional Services dated May 1,1997. A. Description of Asshmment: The PROJECT includes Basic Services and Special Services for Architectural and Engineering design for the following program elements previously defined in the approved Schematic Design package prepared under Work Authorization No.4: Terminal Building Additions and Renovations, Terminal Area (Site) Improvements including Partial Apron, Terminal Area Water Line, Curb Road Improvements, Long-Term Parking Lot Expansion, Future Rental Car Ready Lot Rehabilitation, and Aircraft Hardstands, which comprise the Terminal Area Improvements Project at Bush Field Airport, hereinafter referred to as the PROJECT. Specific services are as described below: 1. The CONSULTANT shall provide basic services (Architectural Design Development), as described in Exhibit "D", Section I, C and D of the MASTER AGREEMENT, for the Terminal Building Additions and Renovations element of the PROJECT. ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN DEVELOPMENT - Includes the following: - Plans, Elevations, Sections, Details, and Outline Specifications to Fix and Describe the Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Components of the Project including Construction Phasing and Demolition. - Coordination with Regulatory Agencies. - Staging Plans including Apron Utilization. - Cost Estimate(s). - Coordination with Landscape Architect, Interior Designer, Signage and Graphics Designer and Other Related Special Services Terminal Building Subconsultants. - Coordination with Other Ongoing Projects. - Coordination with Airline Representatives, Financial Consultants, and the FAA. - Project Scheduling. - Project Budgeting. The CONSULT ANT shall provide basic services (Civil Engineering Final Design), as described in Exhibit "C", Section I, C of the MASTER AGREEMENT for the Terminal Area (Site) Improvements including Partial Apron, Terminal Area Water Line, Curb Road Improvements, Long-Term Parking Lot Expansion, and Future Rental Car Ready Lot Rehabilitation elements of the PROJECT. (See Attachment No.1 - Project Work Limits sketch.) FINAL CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN - Includes the following: - Final Plans, Details and Specifications for Grading, Drainage and Paving and Other Site Related Improvements. - Final Plans, Details and Specifications for Utilities for Site Improvements. - Engineering Reports and Recommendations - Coordination with Local Utility Agencies for Site Improvements. - Coordination with Regulatory Agencies. - Final Construction Phasing Plans - Cost Estimate(s). - Coordination with Architect and Landscape Architect. - Coordination with Signage and Graphics Subconsultant - Coordination with Other Ongoing Projects. 3. The CONSULTANT shall provide basic services (Civil Engineering Preliminary Design), as described in Exhibit "C", Section I, Band C of the MASTER AGREEMENT, for the Aircraft Hardstands element of the PROJECT. (See Attachment No.1 - Project Work Limits sketch.) PRELIMINARY CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN - Includes the following: - Preliminary Plans for Paving and Drainage. - Coordination with Local Utility Agencies for Site Improvements. - Coordination with Regulatory Agencies. - Preliminary Construction Cost Estimate(s). - Coordination with Architect. - Coordination with Other Ongoing Projects. 4. The CONSULTANT shall also provide special services, as described in Exhibit "D" Section II, of the MASTER AGREEMENT, for the PROJECT, which includes: a) Landscape Architecture: Architectural Design Development Phase Services Related to Terminal Building Additions and Renovations; and Civil Engineering Final Design Phase Services Related to Curb Road Improvements. b) Interior Design: Design Development Phase Services Related to Terminal Building Additions and Renovations. Work Authorization No.6 Bush Field Airport Page 2 of 4 051399 c) Signage and Graphics: Design Development Phase Services Related to Terminal Building Additions and Renovations; and Civil Engineering Final Design Phase Services Related to Curb Road Improvements. d) FIDS/BIDS: Design Development Phase Services Related to Terminal Building Additions and Renovations. e) Security System Modifications: Design Development Phase Services Related to Terminal Building Additions and Renovations. t) Presentations and Materials: Presentations and Materials including Renderings, Models, Computer Graphics, Slides or other specialized presentations and related materials as may be requested during the PROJECT. 5. The CONSULTANT shall also provide special services, as described in Exhibit "C", Section II, of the MASTER AGREEMENT, for the PROJECT, which includes: a) Field Surveys: Additional field surveys for Curb Road Improvements drainage improvements. 6. The CONSULT ANT shall provide Program Management and General Consulting services, as described in Exhibit "A", Section I, A and B of the MASTER AGREEMENT, for the PROJECT. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL CONSULTING - Services include the following: Design Team Liaison with Airport Staff, Commissions, and Other Airport Consultants. Overall Program Scheduling and Budgeting. Coordination with the Airlines and Airport Tenants. Coordination with FAA. Financial Coordination Assistance. Attendance at Owner Requested Meetings. Other Owner Requested Services related to the PROJECT. B. Basis of Compensation: 1) For Basic Services and Special Services (except as specifically noted in Section B, 2 below) as described in Section A of this Work Authorization, the CONSULTANT shall be paid the lump sum fee of Five Hundred Forty Four Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy Five Dollars ($544,575.00) as described in Exhibit "F", Section I, of the MASTER AGREEMENT. Work Authorization No.6 Bush Field Airport Page 3 of 4 051399 2) For Special Services not included in the above items (Presentations and Materials, Section A, 4, f. of this Work Authorization), the OWNER shall pay the CONSULTANT on a Cost Plus Fixed Fee basis as described in Exhibit "F", Section I, of the MASTER AGREEMENT, The Fixed Fee shall be Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) with a maximum not to exceed allowance limit of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00). C. Period of Services: Upon written Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) [as evidenced by the signature of the Administrator], the Services described in Section A of this Work Authorization shall be completed as noted below, exclusive of OWNER, FAA, and regulatory reviews or OWNER caused delays.
