Customer Supplied Equipment Waiver
Dynamic Imaging Systems, Inc. strongly encourages the Agency to purchase the primary capture
station hardware from DISI. Even though capture stations are comprised of standard PC
components, they are semi-specialized workstations which are required to support specific
imaging and interface components. These components have been known to conflict with other
standard PC components provided by a variety of manufacturers. All configurations provided by
DISI have been certified by DISI integration and support staff and are supported directly through
DISI. If the Agency elects to provide workstation hardware for the primary capture station the
workstation must be sent to Dynamic Imaging Systems' New Jersey office for integration and
testing prior to the scheduled installation. If a conflict occurs and the system is determined to be
unusable as the primary capture station, the Agency will be responsible for providing a new
workstation for integration. The Agency will pay all shipping charges. The agency provided
workstation must be delivered to DISI's office a minimum of three (3) weeks prior to scheduled
on-site installation. If the hardware fails to meet the minimum standards, is deemed to be
unuseable by DISI support staff or does not arrive in a timely manner, DISI may require the
rescheduling of the on-site installation.
In addition, please be aware that no customer-supplied hardware is covered under DISI support
agreements. If a support issue is deemed to be associated with a failed customer supplied
component, the customer will assume all responsibility for repair or replacement of the
component. Dynamic Imaging Systems will assume no responsibility for loss of system use as a
result of a failed customer supplied component. The min spec should be an Intel Pili 700 MHz
Windows 2000, 98, or NT V4, 128 MB Ram and a 10.0 GB Hard Drive, Network Interface Card, a
17" Monitor capable of 1024 x 768, and a modem for support purposes. The PC will need to be
an industry standard name brand PC (i.e. Dell, HP, Gateway, Compaq, IBM etc.).

A. The objective of this task is to provide:
Dynamic Imaging Systems is proposing to provide data
conversion services for existing digital images where the current
image/data set meets a minimum conversion standard as
mutually agreed upon. Dynamic Imaging Systems, Inc. will only
be able to convert images and image information where existing
data is sufficient to support the conversion plan. Dynamic

6.0 Provide Livescan Interface Services
A. The objective of this task is to provide:
a. Dynamic Imaging Systems is proposing to interface to
the County's existing TP6000 LiveScan Station. The
interface is limited to the information that is displayed on
the emulator screen at the time of image capture. In
addition, there are certain and specific limitations to the
type and quality of data that can be displayed or
accessed from the photo-imaging application
(specifically including multi-table joins and one-to-many
relationships). The Agency is responsible for ensuring
that the TP6000 Livescan provided by Identix is currently
configured to support the data upload package that will
be provided by the imaging capture station, and all
network connections are installed and tested prior to on-
site installation by DISI personnel. To fully capitalize on
the PictureLink LiveScan interface capabilities, the
Agency may be requested to create an 'imaging
interface table' or data transfer file which would include
all elements required for the TP6000. The proposed
Livescan interface includes the capability to perform a
resubmit of records that have been changed or edited
following the initial submission. The resubmit can be
accomplished from the primary capture station. The
subject record must be displayed on the imaging
workstation and the user must manually select the
resubmit option. Once that has occurred the modified
data will be transmitted to the Livescan device and to the
PictureLink.Net server
b. Test Livescan Interface
B. Completion Criteria:
a. This task will be completed when available data is
successfully transmitted from the PictureLink Capture
Station, and is retrieved from the TP6000 Station.
c. Deliverable
a. Interface Services.
D. Reviewing Authority
a. Dynamic Imaging Systems, Inc. Project Manager, &
Richmond County Project Manager.
E. When
a. Will occur as specified in final implementation schedule.

TP600 Identix Livescan Interface*
"See Section 5 of Proposal Response
*Livescan Interface Note:
Dynamic Imaging Systems is proposing to interface to the County's existing Identix Livescan Station.
Please note that the interface is limited, in that only the information that is displayed on the emulator screen
can be passed to the Identix System via the proposed interface. In addition, there are certain limitations to the
kinds of information that can be displayed or accessed from the photo-imaging application, such as multi-table
joins, and one-to-many relationships. To fully capitalize on the PictureLinklLivescan interface capabilities, the
County may be requested to create an 'imaging interface table' which would include all elements required for the TP600.
