WHEREAS, on August 20, 1997, an agreement was entered into between
Augusta, Georgia, a political subdivision of the State of Georgia, and West Augusta Little
League, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the parties thereto desire to amend said agreement to provide for the
sale of certain surplus property by Augusta, Georgia to the West Augusta Little League, Inc. for
the sum of One Thousand and 00/1 00 ($1,000.00) Dollars; and
WHEREAS, Augusta, Georgia, deems the services ~eing provided by the West
Augusta Little League, Inc. to be beneficial to the general population of Augusta, Georgia;
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual promises and
covenants cDntained in the original agreement, and the recitations set forth herein, said
agreement is hereby amended to provide that Augusta, Georgia shall sell to West Augusta Little
League, Inc. that surplus property consisting of a 1993 E-Z-Go 1500 Utility Cart and a 1996
Walker MTGHS Riding Mower for the sum of One Thousand and 00/100 ($1,000.00) Dollars to
be paid by West Augusta Little League, Inc. upon receipt of delivery of such surplus equipment.
This 2.1 day of July, 2000.
