RESOLUTION
APPROVING AND ACCEPTING CSX-058080 PIPELINE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN CSX TRANSPORTATION, INC.
AND AUGUSTA, GEORGIA
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has been petitioned to approve
and accept CSX-058080 Pipeline Agreement between Augusta, Georgia and CSX Transportation,
Inc., a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, whereby CSX Transportation, Inc. is
granting a railroad crossing to Augusta for the 630 Water Main (Project 10151), for which
Augusta will pay $19,000.00 in fees and $10,800.00 in risk insurance payments; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to approve and
accept the Pipeline Agreement;
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for approval and acceptance of the Pipeline Agreement by
the Augusta-Richmond County Commission be shown by execution of said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. The Augusta-Richmond County Commission does hereby approve the Agreement, as
shown in the Exhibit.
2. It is further determined that the Mayor of Augusta, Georgia shall execute the
Agreement.
This Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission, accompanied by the exhibit referred to herein.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond county Commission, this 19th day of February
2008.
