COUNTY OF RICHMOND )
RELEASE executed on 191~ ~ , 1997, by Augusta-Richmond
County, Georgia.
In consideration of being permitted to use property of
Avondale Mills, Inc., (formerly Graniteville Company property), located
in Augusta, County of Richmond, State of Georgia, at the corner of Eve
Street and Pearl Avenue for the purpose of conducting an EPD-sponsored
recycling event from May 17, 1997 through May 24, 1997, without payment
of any consideration thereofj
To the extent permitted by law, Augusta-Richmond County agrees
to indemnify and hold harmless Avondale Mills, Inc. from any loss,
liability, damage or cost resulting from the use of the property of
Avondale Mills, Inc., referred to above, whether caused by the negligence
of Avondale Mills, Inc. or otherwise, including all claims of damage for
personal injury or property damage made by any person on or in connection
with the property of Avondale Mills, Inc., and related to the event
referred to above, whether or not such claim be valid, This indemnity
includes all costs, including attorney's fees, and Augusta-Richmond
County acknowledges that it accepts the use of the property referred to
above "as is" and assumes all responsibility for the condition of the
property used by or for it.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Augusta-Richmond County has caused this
agreement to be signed by its duly authorized officer this ~ day of
