LETTER OF AGREEMENT
HOUSING STATE INMATES IN COUNTY CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Effective JULY 1, 1996; the County of
Richmond
and the
Georgia, Department of Corrections hereby agree that
Richmond
County Correctional Institution will house
175
state inmates for
subsidy of $12.50 per inmate day.
Richmond
County Correctional
Institution further agrees to operate said institution in accordance with all
current Georgia Department of Corrections Rules and Regulations, Standard
Operating Procedures and laws governing the maintenance of state inmates.

Capacity Agreements

The attached Letter of Agreement is the method used to update
Capacity Agreements between counties and the Georgia Department
of Corrections. We are required to update this Agreement each
fiscal year.
Please complete the enclosed Letter of' Agreement for Fiscal Year
97 (July 1, 1996 - June 30, 1997) and return the original no
later than August 15, 1996, tq the County Supervisor's Office.
