RESOLUTION
APPROVING AND ACCEPTING GOVERNMENTAL ENCROACHMENT
AGREEMENT NUMBER 30894 BETWEEN GEORGIA POWER COMPANY
AND AUGUST A, GEORGIA
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has been petitioned to approve
and accept the Governmental Encroachment Agreement Number 30894 between Augusta,
Georgia and Georgia Power Company, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, whereby
Georgia Power is granting an encroachment to Augusta for the Rocky Creek Sanitary Sewer
(Project 60135); and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to approve and
accept the Governmental Encroachment Agreement;
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for approval and acceptance of the Governmental
Encroachment Agreement by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission be shown by execution
of said Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. The Augusta-Richmond County Commission does hereby approve Governmental
Encroachment Agreement Number 30894, as shown in Exhibit.
2. It is further determined that the Mayor of Augusta, Georgia shall execute said
Agreement.
This Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission, accompanied by the exhibits referred to herein.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond county Commission, this 19th day of September
2006.
