FIRST AMENDMENT
TO LEASE AGREEMENT
TillS FIRST AMENDMENT, made this 25thcIay of August
, 2000 to the Lease
Agreement of March 16, 1999 between AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, a political subdivision of the
State of Georgia, as Lessor ("City") and FORE! AUGUSTA FOUNDATION, INC., a non-
profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Georgia, as Lessee
("Fore! Augusta") (which Lease Agreement is recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior
Court for Richmond County, Georgia in Realty Reel 660, pages 756-766).
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Lessee has substantially completed the golf facilities contemplated by the
Lease Agreement and currently contemplates opening the facilities in the spring of 200 I, and it is
desirable for both the Lessor and the Lessee to enter into this First Amendment to provide for the
orderly flow of traffic in and to the golf facilities being built by the Lessee and the aquatic center
owned by the Lessor and to extend the term of the Lease,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS:
1, There shall be added to the leased premises the additional property described in Exhibit
"A-1" attached hereto;

2, The term of the Lease shall be for a period of ten (10) years, beginning on the date of
this First Amendment to the Lease Agreement; and
3, All other terms and conditions of the Lease are ratified and confirmed,
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Lessor and Lessee have caused these presents to be executed
by the proper officials and affixed 1beir seals in duplicate, as of the day and year first above
written,

AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, AS LESSOR,
AND
FORE! AUGUSTA FOUNDATION, INe., AS LESSEE
The following description REPLACES the description set forth in Exhibit A to the Lease
Agreement:
ALL those tracts or parcels ofland situate, lying and being in Augusta-Richmond
County, Georgia shown and designated as "Tract 'A' /17,59 Ac," and "Tract
'B'/23 ,30 AC."on a compiled plat for The First Tee, Augusta prepared by Cranston,
Robertson & Whitehurst, p,e. dated March 12, 1999 and most recently revised
August 17, 2000 to revise the Tract "A" boundary, a copy of which revised plat is
attached to and recorded with this First Amendment to Lease Agreement Said
revised plat is incorporated herein for a more complete description of the location,
metes, bounds, courses and distances of said property,
