By signature of this document, I acknowledge that I have been advised of the risks and liabilities that might arise
out of the construction, operation and maintenance of a backslopeon my property. I also understand the
GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION will assume these risks and liabilities if I convey to the
GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT A TION, in fee simple, the amount of land which encompasses
backslope.

referenced right of way, I hereby certify that I dotake full responsibility for any damages or claims that may result
from the construction, operation a~d maintenance of that portion of the backslope that will reside on my property. I
further indemnify and save harmless the Georgia Department of Transportation's agents, officers, servants, and
employees from any and all lawsuits, actions, or claims of any kind resulting from any injuries or damage received
or sustained by any person, persons, or property arising out of the construction, operation and maintenance of that
portion of the backslope that will reside on my property.
The covenants herein c.ontained shall except as otherwise provided accrue to the benefit of and be binding upon the
successors ,and assigQ.s'df-t)1e parties hereto:
