Authorization for Professional Service,s Between BUSH FIELD AVIATION COMMISSION and THE LPA GROUP INCORPORATED AR209005 (Project Identification No.) Five (5) (Work Authorization No.) It is agreed to undertake the following work in accordance with the provisions of our MASTER AGREEMENT for Professional Services dated .::() ne 5, lqq7 . , - , SECTION I - Description of Assie:nment: The CONSULTANT shall provide program management services, as described in Exhibit "A", Section I [A], of the MASTER AGREEMENT, at Bush Field Airport, Augusta, Georgia, for the following development projects collectively referred to as the TERMINAL PROGRAM. .'\. 1. Terminal Building Additions and Renovations; 2. Curb Road Improvemenfs;''''' 3. Long-term Parking Lot Expansion; 4. Future Rental Car Parking Lot Rehabilitation;_ and, 5. Terminal Area Water Line. In accordance with Section I [C] of Exhibit "A" of the MASTER AGREEMENT, the specific program management scope of services included in this Work Authorization are described below and apply to the TERMINAL PROGRAM only. A - Basic Senrices: 1. Representing Project Team, act as overalI-liaison between Airport staff, Commission, and other Consultants / Engineers working for the Airport on the TERMINAL_ PROGRAM. 2. Attend a maximum of six (6) periodic progress meetings with the Airport staff. Prepare minutes of meetings and distribute to attendees. 3. Coordinate communications among the team -members and with the OWNER. 4, Develop and modify as necessary the overall TERMINAL PROGRAM master schedule. Page 1 050998 -. ~ ~ " 5. Coordinate tenant requirements with questionnaires and a maximum of three (3) airline review meetings and a maximum of three (3) other tenant review meetings. Airline and other tenant meetings are assumed to be conducted back-to-back during a single day for time efficiency. 6. Compile and update as necessary the TERMINAL PROGRAM budget and program elements cost estimates. Coordinate the budget and cost estimates among the design team, the OWNER, and the Airport's independently contracted financial consultant. 7. Assist the Owner and the Airport's independently contracted financial consultant in preparing funding documentation. 8. Define the scope of work for each design component or contract (i.e., architectural limits vs. apron limits vs. landside limits, etc.). Confirm the scope of work (project formulation I programming) for each team member to assure a complete and efficiently designed project. 9. Define Contract and Procurement packages. 10. Coordinate regulatory agency reviews by team disciplines. 11. Coordinate inter-project utilities, schedules, phasing, and design consistency. B - Special Services: If authorized in writing by the OWNER, CONSULTANT shall accomplish such special services as identified below that are not included in Basic Services, except where specifically provided for otherwise in the Work Authorization. Special Services will be paid for by the OWNER in addition to the compensation for Basic Services described herein. 1. Assist the Commission in preparing for public meetings or providing information to the public. This would include the coordination and overview of the development of special presentation drawings, renderings, models, press releases, videos, brochures, etc. 2. Additional site visits, meetings, or presentations. 3. Other miscellaneous technical assistance as directed by the OWNER. Page 2 050998 ., .. " ~ Basis of CompensationlPeriod of Services: I. Compensation: For program management Basic Services, as outlined in Section I [A] of this Work Authorization, the CONSULTANT shall be paid on the basis of actual Cost Plus Fixed Fee of $3.000, as described in Exhibit "F", Sectio!! I, of the MASTER AGREEMENT, with a maximum not to exceed limit of Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Ninetv Six Dollars and No Cents ($19.996.00). 2. Schedule: The completion of program management services described in this Work Authorization under Section I [A] shall occur on December 31, 1998.
