LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROJECT AGREEMENT
In consideration of the proposed improvements, the County of RICHMOND
agrees to provide or perform the following at no cost to the Georgia D.O.T.
for project NH-117-1(13), PI # 220105, RICHMOND County:
NEW CONSTRUCT /ROADvJAY PROJECT
BOBBY JONES XWY FM LANEY WALKER BLVD TO SAVANNAH RIVER
[] Provide all rights-of-wav and/or easements needed for the construction
of the project and renlove exi;ting structures or obstructions within the
rights-of-way.
[X] Make all utility relocations, adjustments or betterments of publicly
owned utilities that are in conflict with construction of this project.
Reimburse Georgia D.O.T. for any damages paid to the contractor for delay of
construction caused by a delay in relocating the publicly owned utilities.
(X] Relocate or adjust all privately owned utilities to clear construction
of this project, including adjustments at railroad crossings if required.
[J Furnish detours, local borrow & waste pits as needed.
[] We support this project but choose not to commit any funding, realizing
this may delay the project until additional funding can be found.

UTILITY RELOCATION
BE IT ORDAINED by the Commission-Council of Augusta-Ric1m10nd County, Georgia that
the following capital project budget is hereby adopted:
Section I. The project authorized is for the relocation of utilities along Bobby Jones Expressway
between Laney Walker Boulevard and the Savannah River. The total amount of this project is
estimated at $7,700 and will come from Special I % Sales Tax, Phase III.
Section 2. The following revenues are anticipated to be available to the Commission-Council to
complete the project:
