RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
AN ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN
ATLANTA GAS LIGHT COMPANY
AND AUGUST A, GEORGIA
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has been petitioned to approve
and accept the Encroachment Agreement between Augusta, Georgia and Atlanta Gas Light
Company, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, whereby Atlanta Gas Light Company
is permitting Augusta to construct an 8" PVC sanitary sewer line under Atlanta Gas Light
Company's existing gas line and through their easement of record, as shown on the attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to approve and
accept the Encroachment Agreement; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for approval and acceptance of the Encroachment
Agreement by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission be shown by execution of said
Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. The Augusta-Richmond County Commission does hereby approve and accept the
Encroachment Agreement.
2. It is further determined that the Mayor of Augusta, Georgia shall execute the
Encroachment Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
This Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission, accompanied by the exhibits referred to herein.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond county Commission, this _ day of
