RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING A GOVERNMENTAL ENCROACHMENT
AGREEMENT WITH THE ATLANTA GAS LIGHT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has been petitioned to approve
and accept two Governmental Encroachment Agreements with the Atlanta Gas Light Company,
copies of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and Exhibit B, said Governmental Encroachment
Agreements being for the Spirit Creek Force Main and Gravity Sewer; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to approve said
Governmental Encroachment Agreements; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for approval and acceptance of the Governmental
Encroachment Agreements by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission be shown by
execution of said Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. The Augusta-Richmond County Commission does hereby approve and accept the
Governmental Encroachment Agreements.
2. It is further determined that the Mayor of Augusta, Georgia shall execute the
Governmental Encroachment Agreements, copies of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and
Exhibit B.
This Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission, accompanied by the exhibits referred to herein.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond county Commission, this 21 st day of March
2006.
