THIS CONTRACT EXTENSION is made effective as of the 1st day of July, 2019 by and
between Central Savannah River Area Regional Commission ("Client") and Bateman
Community Living, LLC ("Bateman").
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, Client and Bateman are parties to a certain agreement dated July 5, 2016
as amended thereafter ("Agreement"), whereby Bateman manages Client's meal program;
WHEREAS, both parties agree that Bateman remains the CSRARC AAA region's
qualified food vendor;
WHEREAS, Augusta/Richmond County is under the umbrella of CSRARC; and
WHEREAS, the parties now desire to further extend the aforesaid Agreement another
twelve (12) month period as part of the broader multi-year agreement with CSRARC.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises herein contained and for other
good and valuable consideration, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. The Agreement is hereby extended another twelve (12) month period, from July
1, 2019, through June 30, 2020.
2. Per the terms of the Agreement, there is a non-delivery fee of $1.30 per meal for
all home-delivered meals. This includes, but is not limited to, any attempted meal
delivery where Bateman attempts to deliver a five (5)-pack meal, but no one is
home to accept the delivery. In this example, the non-delivery fee assessed
would be a total of$6.50 ($1.30 for each of the five (5) meals in the pack).
3. This Amendment is effective July 1, 2019, unless amended thereafter. All
capitalized terms used herein and not otherwise defined herein shall have the
meanings attributed to them in the Agreement. All other terms and conditions
contained in the Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to be signed
by their duly authorized officers, all done the day and year first above written.
