An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning by
amending the conditions in the LI (Light Industry) Zone from Z-04-109 affecting
property located on the north right-of-way line of Clark Road, 410 feet,more or less,
west of the northwest corner of Mike Padgett Highway and Clark Road; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is
amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map by changing the zoning by amending the
conditions in the LI(Light Industry)Zone from Z-04-109 as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Clark Road, 410 feet,
more or less,west of the northwest corner of Mike Padgett Highway and Clark Road;
thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Clark Road a
distance of 475 feet,more or less,to a point;thence,in a northerly direction a distance
of 507 feet, more or less,to a point;thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 443
feet,more or less,to a point,thence,in a southeasterly direction a distance of 490 feet,
more or less,to the point of beginning. This property contains 5.0 acres and is known
as 1221 Clark Road. Tax Map 302-018-00-0

SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta,Georgia is
subject to the following stipulations:
1. A side yard buffer with fence, trees, and shrubs as required by the Augusta Tree
Ordinance be required along the property line.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby
Repealed.
