HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7659 CHANGE OF ZONING FROM R-1A (ONE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO ZONE R-2 (TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) AFFECTING PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF BAYVALE ROAD, 219 FEET, MORE OR LESS, NORTHWEST OF VETERANS ROAD ORDINANCE NO.7 i '9 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia"by changing the zoning from R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) affecting property located on the northeast right-of-way line of Bayvale Road, 219 feet, more or less, northwest of Veterans Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map by changing the zoning from R-1A (One- family Residential)to zone R-2 (Two-family Residential)Zone as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Bayvale Road, 219 feet, more or less, northwest of Veterans Road; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Bayvale Road a distance of 75.0 feet to a point;thence,in a northeasterly direction a distance of 131.5 feet to a point; thence, in southeasterly direction a distance of 75.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 128.9 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 0.22 acres and is known as 2156 Bayvale Road. Tax Map 055-4- 084-00-0 Z-19-12 SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
