Background:It is for the Victim Assistance Program in the Solicitor General's Office. This is a continuation grant from last year. The purpose is to allow for the provision of services to crime victims as outlined in the Crime Victims' Bill of Rights. The funding is used for the salary of two victim advocate positions.
