PRESENT: Hons. Johnson, Garrett, Mason, Frantom, B. Williams, Scott, McKnight, D. Williams, Hasan and Clarke, members of Augusta Richmond County Commission. ABSENT: Mr. Clarke and Mr. Mason, members of Augusta Richmond County Commission. Mr. Mayor: Thank you. Good morning, everybody. We’re here for the purpose of the Special Called Meeting to adopt the mill rate for 2022 as published and presented in the local organ. We’ve got a single subject matter before us. We’ll call this meeting to order. The Chair recognizes Madam Clerk. The Clerk: Yes, sir. A motion to adopt the 2022 Millage Rate for each taxing district at the calculated roll back rate. County M & O 7.986, Urban Service District, 4.307, Capital Outlay, .637, Fire Protection, 1.733, Blythe Fire District, 2.626. Mr. Mayor: Thank you, Madam Clerk. The Chair recognizes the commissioner from the th 6. Mr. Hasan: Thank you. Good morning, Mr. Mayor and everyone else. Mr. Mayor, I’d like to make a motion to adopt as stated by the Clerk. Mr. Frantom: Second. th Mr. Mayor: All right, I’ve got a motion and a second from the commissioner from the 7. All right, Madam Clerk, let’s do a roll call vote. The Clerk: Okay, Mr. Clarke. Out. Mr. Frantom. Mr. Frantom: Yes, ma’am. The Clerk: Mr. Garrett. Out. Mr. Hasan. Mr. Hasan: Yes, ma’am. The Clerk: Mr. Johnson. Out. Mr. Mason. Ms. McKnight. Ms. McKnight: Yes, ma’am. Mr. Mayor: All right, the Chair recognizes the Mayor Pro Tem for a motion, a motion to reconsider previous action. Mr. B. Williams: Yeah, a motion for reconsideration. I think a couple of people are about to call in. Missing four or five people. Mr. Mayor: We’ve got a motion to reconsider the previous action. Do I have a second? Mr. Hasan: Second. Ms. McKnight: Second. th Mr. Mayor: All right, I’ve got a second from the commissioner from the 6. All right, Madam Clerk, roll call vote. The Clerk: Mr. Clarke. Mr. Frantom. Mr. Frantom: Yes, ma’am. Mr. Mayor: This is just a motion to reconsider the previous action, Commissioner Johnson. Mr. Johnson: I was not on the line to hear the previous action.
