DeCamp, Planning commissi-;:if{1} FROM: DATE: February 10, 2003 RE: Contract Amendment between Georgia DNR and City Of Augusta Downtown Design Guidelines Project Per your letter of January 17th to George Patty, attached for your files is an original of the \ contract amendment for the referenced project. The Downtown Design Guidelines project . was completed last September, but DNR has allocated another one thousand one hundred thirty-three dollars ($1,133,00) to pay for publishing more copies of the Downtown Design Guidelines. CONTRACT NO. 13-01-16410-03 FOR PRESERVATION PLANNING ACTIVITIES AMENDMENT THIS AGREEMENT, made this 7th day of November, in the year of 2002 by and between the DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, acting for and on behalf of the State of Georgia, (hereinafter called the DEPARTMENT), whose address is 156 Trinity Avenue, S.W., Suite 101, Atlanta, Georgia 30303, and AUQusta, GeorQia whose address is 530 Greene Street, AUQusta, Georoia, 30911 (hereinafter referred to as the RECIPIENT). WITNESSETH THAT: WHEREAS, on June 1. 2002, the parties hereto entered into an Agreement for preservation planning activities; and WHEREAS, the parties to the Agreement now desire to amend said Agreement. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, it is mutually agreed between the parties hereto that the Agreement be hereby amended as follows: ' . I. EXHBIT A SCOPE OF WORK AND Budget CITY OF Augusta-Richmond County Downtown Augusta Historic District Design Guidelines SCOPE OF WORK The RECIPEINT will produce the Downtown Augusta Historic District Design Guidelines in hard copy as well as digital format for inclusion on the Augusta Planning Department's website. All project work shall conform to Secretary of the Interior's "Standards for Archaeology and Historic Preservation," which include the "Standards for Preservation Planning." The RECIPIENT will provide five final (hard copies) of the design guidelines to the Department within the contract period. All project development shall be reviewed by the DEPARTMENT. The review process includes reviewing and approving consultant selection, the consultant contract, the preliminary draft, and other materials determined necessary during project development.
