Let Ine list 111Y lDany attenlpts to obtain infornlation in order to provide a fair and competitive bid: 1) Per your General Inforlnation instructions, I contacted McConstant Brighalll for furtller inforillation in order to obtain accurate specifications on 11/26 or a couple of days sooner. I asked her numerous questions and explained my questions which she understood, but, she could only answer one of my questions. She did inforIn me that the "letterhead shell" refen-ed to the white linen letterhead and not one of tlle others. She recommended I call you or Cynthia to obtain the answers I needed. 2) On 11/26 @ 2 pIn I discussed with Cyntllia. I went over the saIne numerous questions again, explained my questions again, and she seemed to understand but did not know the answers. I then asked her would she pass this information on to you and have you call me and she said she would. 3) On 11/28 @ 11 aIn I called and asked for you. You were not available so I left a Inessage with Maritsa to 11a ve you call. 11le. 4) On 11/28 @ 1 :50 pIn Mary called Ine. I again reviewed my questions and she could not answer then1, but, in our discussion I aslced if she could get a salnple of each itelTI and that would answer the bulk of Iny questions. I also explained that she could get these specifications froln the prior years printer very easily. A printer knows better than anyone how to be specific about printing specifications. 'vVe also raised a question about the '\vhite linen window env." because the saInple was not linen but a regular C0l11l1l0dity env. which would be treluendously cheaper than the specifications indicated. She said she thought this \vas \vrong and she would check it out and let 111e know. We even briefly mentioned that this would be sOlnething all the bidders should be Illade aware of if it truly was inaccurate. She said she would get me the samples and would get answers to the questions I had w ~ ~() h asked and we had raised. vV - , A Tradition of lv10king Quality Impressions. . . Since 1962 c \S 1 \ [
