HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-09-2001 Meeting (2) I CITIZENS BUDGET REVIEW COMMITTEE April 9, 2001 PRESENT: S. Loyd, P. Simon, B. Richards, R. Karnardy, L. Colet, R. Chadwick, W. Frazier, G. Hunt, E. Tarver, P. Garnett. ABSENT: R. Johnson, member. ALSO PRESENT: D. Williams, Asst. Comptroller, T. Flakes, Finance Dept, A. Slavens, Finance Dept. Consultant, B. Brown, Clerk of Commission office. The meeting was called to order by the Chairman. Motion to approve minutes of the April 9, 2001 meeting. Mr. Hunt: So move. Mr. Karnardy: Second. Motion carries unanimously. I The Committee received and reviewed the information requested from the March 26,2001 meeting as follows: >- Current Pay Grade Structure. >- List on Non Governmental Agencies funded from ARC General Fund. >- List of comparison oftax levy. >- Budgets from comparable cities. The following information is requested for review by the Committee at the April 16, 2001 meeting: >- Number of City-County employees before consolidation. >- Millage rate for Muscogee County. >- List of city properties and tax value. >- Cost of operating city/county before consolidation. The consensus of the committee was to review all information requested before receiving additional presentations from departments.
