Walsh for a Therapeutic Massage License to be used in connection with Jon Ric Salon located at 229 Fury' Ferry Rd., Suite 101. District 7. Super District 10. Ms. Walsh: Karen Walsh, 2060 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, Ga. Mr. Sherman: The Sheriff's Department and License Department have reviewed the application and recommend that it be approved. There are no objectors. Ms. Sims: I make a motion we approve. Mr. Smith: Second. Motion adopted unanimously with Mr. Hankerson out. 5. Discussion: A request by Dennis Abrams for an extension of time to purchase the Liquor, Beer & Wine license to be used in connection with Tribeca Lounge located at 968 Broad Street. There will be dance. District 1. Super District 9. Mr. Abrams: Dennis Abrams, 3049 Walton Way, Augusta, Ga. Mr. Sherman: Mr. Abrams has asked for an extension. Mr. Harris: These two people are not here at this time. 1. Approve forfeiture of surety bond for Silver & Sons Construction. I Ms. Flournoy: We're asking that this item be deferred until the next committee meeting. The claimant could not attend the meeting today. Mr. Smith: I so move. Ms. Sims: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. 2. Approve request from the LPA Group for Work Authorization #17- Proposal for Architectural and Civil Construction Administration of the New Terminal Project. Mr. Smith: I move for approvaL Ms. Sims: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. 3. Discussion: Consider approving gas reimbursement at $.345 per mile or applicable reimbursement rate in lieu of $2700 per year auto allowance and I 4 I I I $.08 per mile. This would become effective January 1, 2005 and apply to the inspectors in the Building Division, License & Inspection Department. Mr. Sherman: We have two new inspectors who receive 34 Y, cents per mile and we're asking to change the policy so that the other inspectors will receive that amount as opposed to $2700 and 8 cents per mile. After a short discussion, Mr. Smith: I would like to make a motion that we approve the request. Ms. Sims: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. 15. Motion to approve increases in fees and charges for services provided by Recreation and Parks as outlined in art. 1. Mr. Beck presented a list of the proposed fee increases for services in the Recreation Dep.artment. Mr. Hankerson: I'd like to make a motion that we approve the fee increase proposaL Ms. Sims: I second it.
