Bob Young, Mayor; Mays, Chairman; Bridges, Co-Chairman; KuhIke, member; Walter Hornsby, Deputy Administrator; Rob Sherman, License & Inspections Director; North Williamson, Tax Commissioner's Office; Lena Bonner, Clerk of Commission. ABSENT: Hon. Colclough, member. Also Present: George Eskola ofWJBF Television, other members of the news media and Hons. Williams, Beard and Cheek, Co=issioners. 2. New Application: A.N.03-03: A request by James R. Mobley for an on premise consumption Liquor, Beer & Wine license to be used in connection with Augusta Lighthouse located at 2911 Washington Road. There will be Sunday sales. District 7. Super District 10. Mr. Mobley: My name is James Mobley and my address is 4391 Deerwood Lane, Evans, Ga. I Mr. Sherman: The Sheriffs Department and License Department have reviewed the application and reco=end that it be approved. There are no objectors. Mr. Bridges: I move for approval. Mr. Kuhlke: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. 3. New Application: A.N.03-04: A request by Ashok Shah for a retail package Beer & Wine license to be used in connection with Deans Bridge Travel Center located at 3333 Deans Bridge Road. District 5. Super District 9. Mr. Shah: I'm Ashok Shah, 1017 Stevens Creck Rd., Augusta, Ga. Mr. Sherman: The Sheriffs Department and License Department have reviewed the application and recommend approval. There are no objectors. Mr. Kuhlke: I so move. Mr. Bridges: Second. I Motion adopted unanimously. 1. Report from the Ta:t Commissioner's Office regarding the list of delinquent property and/or business taxes that are associated with businesses renewing aicohoilicenses. I Mr. Williamson made a report on the list of businesses that are delinquent in the payment of their taxes. He noted that some businesses have not applied for licenses because they owe taxes and that he and Mr. Sherman will be working on those as soon as possible. After further discussion, Mr. KuhIke: I make it in the form of a motion that we get a further report back on this in two weeks. Mr. Bridges: Second. Motion adopted unanimously.
